Take a moment to read the following support information provided by the ‘Belong To’ Campaign. Please feel free to share this information with those you know who may find it helpful.

Talk to Our Youth Workers

Our Youth Workers are available to provide text, WhatsApp, email, and phone support for LGBTI+ young people. Reach out and talk to our friendly, expert Youth Workers Shane, Kate, and Sean in confidence. They are happy to listen, provide you with information, and refer you if needed.

LGBTI+ Youth Groups

The youth groups that we run and support nationwide provide a space for LGBTI+ young people to develop friendships, get support, and belong. These groups are a place to meet other LGBTI+ young people, share your experiences, hang out, and chat. Each group is a welcoming place for all young people including those with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and intellectual disabilities.

As well as running our own Youth Groups, we support other organisations such as Youth Work Ireland and Foróige to run LGBTI+ youth groups.

Crisis Counselling with Pieta

Working with Pieta House, we are providing a free counselling service for LGBTI+ young people who are feeling suicidal or self-harming. Our therapist, Nash, is friendly and welcoming, and will listen to you in a safe, non-judgmental space and work through whatever is worrying you. Click here for more information.

As part of the Better Out Than In campaign, we have created an online hub to direct LGBTI+ youth to a range of free, confidential support services from a number of mental health and LGBTI+ organisations. .
